Shilpa Shinde, who was making her comeback on the small screen after two years with Gangs Of Filmistan, made headlines for not reporting on the sets. The actress who had started shooting for the show last month stopped coming for the shoot from August 28. Also, the calls and mail by channels and producers to the actress were going unanswered. And now after days of silence, the actress herself took to her social media to confirm her exit by wishing the entire team best of luck.
Shilpa took to her Instagram and wrote, “Best of Luck to The Entire Team of Gangs of Filmistan. You all have worked incredibly hard. Best of Luck @[email protected]@[email protected]@[email protected]
For those who are unaware, in a conversation, Shilpa was upset with the producers and had made some serious allegations against them. As per Shilpa, producers of the show exploited her, flouted the COVID-19 guidelines while shooting on the sets and lied to her about Sunil Grover not being part of the show. In the same interview, Shilpa had also revealed that she is disappointed with this and will soon quit the show. She said, “The makers have lied to me a lot from day one about the show. We have been shooting from 7 am in the morning to 11 in the night. I don’t know where these association people are. Why don’t they notice this? How artists are being exploited. They are always there to sabotage someone’s image, but now when we are working for 12 hours or more sometimes, nobody is raising a question. Artists get tired of shooting non-step as this time we are doing comedy non-stop in a daily soap format for 1 hour. We were told that we will shoot for the show only twice in a week and we are ending up shooting every day. We are getting tortured.”
However one of the producers of the show, Preeti Simoes refuted Shilpa’s allegations and revealed that the actress never expressed her concern to them. Also, no favouritism was done to Sunil Grover as claimed by the actress.
